ALL ABOARD NEW CLASSIC
The iconic Great Ocean Road, one of Australia's most popular tourist destinations, will feature in one of Caribou's three new events for 2009 - the Shipwreck Coast Classic
The 110Km classic will be held on Sunday, October 25, starting in Warrnambool and finishing at the Cheeseworld complex Allansford.
The classic will form part of Cycling Australia's national road series competition. It will be held the day after the legendary Melbourne to Warrnambool Classic which this year will be reduced in distance to 265Kms.
The "Warrnambool" will also have a new starting point at the Werribee Racecourse in the City of Wyndham.
The two classics will create a fantastic weekend of cycle racing for Warrnambool.
